NCMC Men's Basketball Lose Big to Milwaukee Area Tech
Escanaba, MI - The Timberwolves (1-8) traveled to Bay College in Escanaba, MI to play the first of a two-game tournament. In game one, on Friday, December 12th, NCMC was faced with a tall task - going up against Milwaukee Area Tech CC (10-3), the 16th ranked Junior College in the NJCAA. The Timberwolves turned the ball over early, as they were faced with immense pressure. An early 18-2 run got ugly in a hurry. Ultimately, the Timberwolves went on a mini 8-2 run to begin the second half. In the end, it wasn't enough as NCMC lost 134-71.
Statistical Leaders
- Camari Keller (Vincent, AL/Vincent) filled the stat sheet with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
- Ben Barringer (Freeland/Freeland) facilitated well ending with five assists.
- Ryan Ehert (Pembine, WI) ended with three steals.
