Career Highs and School Records for Women's Basketball in Loss at Delta

University Center, MI – North Central Michigan College Women’s Basketball (2-13, 0-3) travelled to Delta College (10-7, 3-0) for their MCCAA Northern Conference game. A spirited first quarter kept the Timberwolves fighting, despite having a smaller roster due to injuries. Delta would make some runs and take a lead that was too much for the squad to come back from.

The players gave everything as two set career high scoring marks with Evelyn VanTol (Frankfort/Frankfort) leading all scorers with 23 points. She scored 11 of her field goal attempts, tying the NCMC Women’s Basketball record for most field goals made in a game. VanTol recorded her fifth double-double of the season collecting 12 rebounds.

Sophomore, Ally Sutton (Kalkaska/Kalkaska) was steady for the Timberwolves as she scored her career high 12 points, including going a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line.

Ceara LeBlanc (Brimley/Brimley) had her career high 7 assists, which also ties the school record for most in one game.
