A Strong Second Half Push Isn't Enough to Overcome Muskegon CC Hot Shooting Night
Muskegon, MI – The Timberwolves traveled on the road to play in their fifth conference game of the season, against Muskegon Community College. The Timberwolves found themselves in a battle early. Muskegon couldn’t miss from behind the arc, allowing them to jump out to an early lead. The Timberwolves were pounding the rock inside, but couldn’t sustain, finding themselves down by 14 at halftime. The second half was a different story. The Timberwolves cut the lead down to as few as six points. Again, they couldn’t sustain, as they dropped a tough one, 75-66.

- Evelyn VanTol (Frankfort/frankfort) had an efficient 10-14 shooting night to lead the way with 22 points.
- Arika Taylor (Joliet/Joliet Central) contributed eight assists.
- Ally Sutton (Kalkaska/Kalkaska) skied for eight rebounds.
