Every Runner Sets a New Personal Record for Men’s Cross Country
Goodells, MI – The Men’s Cross-Country team peaked at the right time as they ran their best race of the season at the MCCAA & Region XII Championship at Goodells County Park. Facing off against eight nationally ranked teams (seven DII & one DIII), the Timberwolves held their own and recorded the best team average time in school history (31:08).
Coach Rod Anderson, along with assistant Coach Place & Coach Law, did a fantastic job preparing the team all season long to reach this outcome as every man on the team recorded his new personal record during this race.
Sophomore JT Greenier (Charlevoix/Boyne Falls) ran in his final race as a Timberwolf on the exact same course he ran his first ever race – with a significant difference in results.
The team finished 12th out of the 19 MCCAA teams in the conference championship and 11th of out the 19 NJCAA DII teams in the Region XII Championship.
