Multiple Personal Records and an All Northern Conference Team Selection in NCMC's First Ever Home Meet at Camp Petosega

Alanson, MI – The Men’s Cross Country Team competed in the first ever North Central Michigan College hosted meet, taking place at Camp Petosega in Alanson, MI. This was the MCCAA Northern Conference Championship Meet; all teams from the North conference participated. The competition was loaded with talent, as Muskegon CC ranked 16th nationally, according to the NJCAA DII Cross Country Poll, coming into meet day. 

Dakota Taylor (Naubinway/Engadine) led the way, marking an 8k race time of 29:41, placing him in the MCCAA All Northern Conference Team. Four out of the six NCMC runners also had Personal Records (PRs), on the day; including JT Greenier (Charlevoix/Boyne Falls) who saw a two minute and twenty one second improvement on his PR.
