A Tightly Contested First Half Slips Away in the Second Half

Muskegon, MI – The Timberwolves traveled on the road to play in their fifth conference game of the season, against Muskegon Community College. The Timberwolves were feeling it from deep early, jumping out to an 18-13 lead. Muskegon’s 5-0 run tied it up at 18. It was back and forth throughout the rest of the half, with a halftime score of 35-35. The Timberwolves went cold in the second half, only scoring 22 points; Muskegon stayed hot, scoring another 42 points in the second half, taking it 77-57. 

Statistical Leaders 
  • Gavin Goetz (Cadillac/Cadillac) led the way in the scoring column, with 11 points.
  • Thomas Conzelmann (Frankenmuth/Frankenmuth) added six rebounds.
