Josh Adim earns MCCAA Northern Conference Player of the Week

Petoskey, MI – Freshman guard, Josh Adim (Joliet, IL/Joliet Central) has been named the Player of the Week by the MCCAA Northern Conference, the league office announced today. This is the first men’s basketball award for North Central.

“It is great to see Josh recognized by the conference for his performance last week,” states Coach Jeff Corcoran. “He’s a very humble young man who speaks with his efforts on the court. His growth as a player has set an example for current and future Timberwolf players.”

The Timberwolves went 1-1 last week defeating LSSU-JV by a 111-58 margin and dropping a 58-82 decision at Wayne County CC. Adim was a force on the court as he led all scorers in both games, dropping 27 points – a new career high for the freshman, in the home contest against LSSU-JV. On the road Adim again was the game leader where he scored 25 points.

For the week Adim produced an impressive stat line:
  • 52 points
  • 50% 3 point field goal shooting percentage
  • 10 assists
  • 10 rebounds
  • 9 steals

Adim and the Timberwolves will be in action at home this Saturday, December 10th when they host St. Clair County Community College. Tip off is for 3pm following the Women's match.
