Esports to Host Open Play Night

Petoskey, MI – As the sport continues to grow rapidly at the national level the Timberwolves are looking to add more players to their roster for the upcoming seasons. Interested students should attend an Open Play Night on Friday, September 5th from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. in the Esports Arena, BLC 53. 

All playing experience is welcome to join. Students must be enrolled full-time at North Central Michigan College, and maintain academic eligibility in order to compete. 

Pizza and snacks will be provided during the Open Play Night as students can learn more about this opportuntiy. 

Coach Ian is looking to finalize the roster for this fall so the team can decide which titles they will compete in. The NJCAA-E sponsors competition in the following games:

  • CoD: 4v4, CoD: Gunfight, CoD: Warzone 3

  • Fortnite (build & no-build)
  • Hearthstone
  • League of Legends
  • Madden
  • Mario Kart, Mario Kart 4v4

  • Tekken 8
  • Valorant
