25 Timberwolves and 3 Teams Earn MCCAA Academic Honors

The Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) announced its Academic teams and individual awards for the 2024-2025 season. 

Student-athletes who competed in an MCCAA-sponsored sport and maintained a minimum 3.0 GPA while earning at least 24 credits during the year were named to the MCCAA Academic All-Conference Team. Those with a GPA of 3.2 or higher and at least 24 credits earned recognition on the Academic All-MCCAA Team. New this year, student-athletes could qualify with fewer than 24 credits if they graduated within the year. 

Teams were also recognized for their collective academic success. Teams with a cumulative GPA above 3.0 earned MCCAA All-Academic Team honors. For North Central this year, the honored teams are: 

  • Women's Volleyball 3.42
  • Women’s Cross Country 3.40 

  • Men’s Cross Country 3.27
